There's some realllly nifty stuff on blogger/blogspot, and a whole bunch of awesome artists! @3@ A lot of professional artists have stuff their too, so you can see what they work on and how they do stuff and hfdjaf it's just so awesome! 8D

I kinda doubt I'll ever really post there much though, eh I think I'll most post sketch stuff there, or WIPS but other than that I'll prolly stick to my DA journal xD

I'm really starting to hate it now... ): The timing is just blah, it goes too fast so it's hard to tell what's going on. Near the end I need to add more inbetween frames cuz it just looks choppy and bad. e_e Do you guys have any suggestions on how I could maybe fix it up a bit....?

I wanna finish it cuz it'd be something nice-ish for my portfolio xp

Do any of you have any cats... that just do the silliest, funniest, or craziest things? Well I don't. )8 SO I NEED YOUR HELP!~

I'm going to make a short 20-30 second flash animation involving a cat, and possibly a fly, but really anything small with limited movement works really.... xD (need to use motion guides for it). And I need some ideas.

So tell me all about your crazy kittehs 8D so I may possible have some inspiration because I have NO idea of what to do.... Short things always seem to be really hard because they have to be like RIGHT to the point.

Also if you have any music... that would maybe like fit...... in 20-30 seconds... that'd be SUPER helpful too @_@ I'm thinking of some sort of classical music, kinda like the stuff in old Disney cartoons and such. Would give me something to work off of. xD

You know what I've noticed? It seems that all the artists that are well noticed, or the ones that 'stand out', are the artists who draw... a lot of the same stuff. Like all their art looks... the same. Each picture has the same theme, colors, or general idea. And sure, they may draw well, but it kinda of bores me. I do like consistency, but... I like it when things are well, constantly different. I always try to draw different and new things each time. Maybe it's just because I'm really inexperienced my art doesn't have a unique 'style' to it, but somehow I don't think I'll ever reach that because I like a very different and variety of things. Sometimes things work one way with one thing, but would work better completely different with something else.

Even a lot of artists who I use to love to death, just have lost their uniqueness to me. I love their old art, but then their new art, has become so... cut-paste. It seems like all their art has become the same thing over and over and it really makes me sad...

It works the same with music too. For instance, one of my favorite bands (or at least of their previous album) Skillet, their songs were very unique. Each song on the album has it's own style to it and I really liked that. The songs all fit together well and you could tell they were from the same artist, but they were each different. Now their new album... just seems boring to me. Maybe only few songs on their even appeal to me at all. I feel like 'I've heard this a million times'. I think that's what happens to a lot of artist though. They find a 'style' they like to settle down with it.

Now another musical artist who I love, Celldweller, is the exact opposite. His music is always unique, every song, completely different, and I love every one of them. No song is ever the same. Each song has it's own flavor. His music in general has no exact genre. His music is a mis-match of a bunch of genres all in one which makes his music very fresh and exciting. I just love that. His new album (although he only has part 1 of 5 released) is just amazing. I've had his music on repeat for like the past 5 or 6 days now, and still not sick of it. Even his old songs, I just CAN'T get sick of them. If you never heard his music I really suggest you check it out. -> [link]

Commissions can be done either traditionally (with copic markers), or digitally; the pricing is the same. However, I can do more detail and better backgrounds with digital but I can ship traditionally done pictures to you in the mail (just pay shipping).


Full Body: Detailed Background

If you want just an outline, sketch, or maybe just coloring, you can 'make your own' price commission.

To find the price of the commission, add each part up from sketch through coloring. You can't have an outline without a sketch, or coloring without an outline. However, I CAN color sketches. I can't color a background if nothing is drawn, so all detail background prices are cumulative. Simple backgrounds require no pre-drawn art so only coloring is priced.

Additional characters for each type are stated underneath the price.

Small animals or tiny simple characters or objects I will draw for no extra charge. (consider them as part of the background)

Full animal characters and anything similarly simple can be charged for a waist-up commission price, even if they are full body. (kind of silly to make only half a cat or dog lol)



Upon request I can turn your commission into a double-sided laminated bookmark! However, bookmarks will generally look nicer if draw for the intention of a bookmark. If you want a commission specifically bookmarked size, let just me know.

Q: What is considered to be a waist-up character?
A: Pretty much as it says, a character from the waist up, but it could be slightly more or slightly less. Basically, it means there is nothing going on the bottom half of the character so it's easier to coordinate the pose and color.

Q: What would be considered a full body character?
A: A character from head to toe. Usually if I draw a full body character, I make it so the whole character will fit on screen. It just seems out of place to cut of a foot or hand or anything on these types of pictures.

Q: Why are additional characters cheaper?
A: Additional characters are usually covered up in some way by the first character. The characters should be overlapping some way shape or form for it to be considered an additional character. However, characters at a further distance, but still full body can be considered an additional character as well. I'm very lenient on what is considered an additional character simply because it doesn't take as much work as drawing two completely separate images.

Q: What is considered to be a detailed background?
A: Basically anything in the background that is required to be drawn. Usually this also means the background effects the lighting and coloring of the characters as well, making better for setting the mood of a picture instead of just simply drawing them.

Q: What is a simple background considered to be?
A: Just a plain colored background with textures or brushes, however background coloring is reflected upon the shading of the characters, making the characters blend in more with the background instead of simply floating around in space. Very simple environmental backgrounds (such as a plain sky or grass) or ones simply consisting of something like a plain wall, floor, or ceiling can also be considered a simple background. Basically, anything that DOESN'T require me to draw extra in the picture is considered a simple background.

Q: If I need a commission done on a certain date, can you adhere to that?
A: If you really need a picture done by a certain day, I will try my best to get it done, but I can't guarantee it will be. However, you are free to message me and check up with me on progress if you are concerned or just want it finished quicker for whatever reason. Please do keep in mind though I'm a full time college student and have other responsibilities that come before my commissions.

Q: Can I get a .psd file of my digital commission? (Or original traditional image?)
A: Of course! Traditionally done commissions can also be sent out in the mail (just pay shipping fees).

Q: Why won't you draw real people?
A: I'm really bad at turning realistic people into simple cartoons because it's hard to make them look distinct without making them look distorted. I dislike caricature art because I find it kind of mocking the person being drawn; the same goes for drawing real people in a cartoon style. However, if you give me a cartoon/anime reference I will draw them (but you can still include a real photo for reference).

Commissioners get full size digital image or high dpi scanned and cleaned up traditional image!
A watermarked version will be uploaded to DA by me. If you wish for me to not post up the artwork, please note me and tell me why.


I do not requirement payment until after the sketch is completed, but you can pay full upfront as well. If you feel concerned, you can pay half after the sketch is done and the other half upon completion. However, you will only get a small watermarked thumbnail before I receive payment.
